The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Junior Science (IOQJS), formerly known as the National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS), is one of India's six extremely competitive Olympiads. It qualifies applicants for the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO). The Indian Association of Physics Teachers is in charge of the event (IAPT).
This exam, which is part of the International Olympiad movement, aims to identify the best minds and talents in Science and Mathematics among Junior School Children. It also fosters these children's problem-solving abilities and helps them scale up their abilities to solve problems by testing their learnings. If you acquire problem-solving skills early in your academic career, you will boost your NEET and JEE results.
The exam was originally known as NSEJS, but it was renamed IOQJS after the CIA integrated the first two stages with IOQJS. Part-II of the IOQJS is still referred to as INJSO by certain specialists.
The following are the stages of the exam (after covid):

In terms of this exam, a basic grasp of previous trends reveals that there is no established syllabus. Because this exam is for students in grades 10 and lower, it is recommended that students be familiar with topics from grades 7 to 10. According to Vedantu Elite IOQJS Mentors, the following are some of the most significant topics:
2.) Start Testing Your Preparation with Previous Year Question Papers & Mock Tests from the IOQJS Syllabus.
One can never be fully prepared for what is to come in the exams, but we should always prepare in whatever manner we can, and one of the greatest ways to study for IOQJS 2021-22 is to solve Previous Year Questions (PYQs) and take mock tests.
Experts recommend this kind of preparation, as did the majority of former Olympiad Scholars. It allows you to put your concepts, learnings, and topic knowledge to the test. It also shows you where you need to develop and where you can put more trust in order to get good grades.
Come and start preparing for IOQJS 2021-22 with the specially created IOQJS mock test series if you want to improve your performance and final exam marks. This series was created with the help of India's top IOQJS mentors. Also, kindly check IOQJS PYQ for reliable PYQs.
Preparing for this exam is difficult because even the tiniest of concepts might fool you on the exam, therefore if you're looking for a reliable source for your studies, this is your opportunity.
3.) Make a daily schedule and evaluate your strengths and weaknesses.
Rehearsing a topic and then preparing others will not benefit you in any way; it will just detract from your concentration and, as a result, your performance. As a result, you need first create a strong plan and stick to it in order to achieve the best results.
Once you've devised a study schedule or plan, it's necessary to do a self-assessment to determine what you can readily learn, what things will be tough for you to comprehend, and so on.
This should be done before creating a timeline since it will give you an idea of how much time you can devote to each topic and how much time you can set aside for revisions.
4.) Never judge yourself or your preparations based on what others have done.
When you're in the middle of an exam, it's natural to start looking around for what everyone else is doing, and you'll feel both relaxed and anxious. This will undoubtedly reduce your productivity. Don't be alarmed by seeing someone behind you, and don't be alarmed by seeing someone ahead of you.
It will happen when some of your pals will have finished the course and will be revising. You don't need to be concerned about it. It's not a big problem if they're ahead; you'll still finish the curriculum. Also, don't get too excited about buddies who are preparing behind you; there's a good chance they'll outrun you as well. So, without being influenced by your classmates, continue to work and prepare.
5.) Pay Attention to Your Health
A large number of pupils begin to take tests very seriously. They sacrifice all of their sleep and food in order to prepare, and then it all builds up and BOOM! You're unwell and can't study for the exam, and your dreams have all been wrecked, right?
This is the issue with every second student studying for a test; students, please refrain from doing so. You will only be able to pass or pass the exam if you sit for it; doing so will also help you prepare faster; but, it will have a negative impact on your health and will harm you more than anything else. So, take good care of your health and get enough sleep, eat well, and spend some time away from the books to help you recharge.
