M3 World Championship: results, schedule, format, prize pool, where to watch

Following the conclusion of ONE Esports' MPL Invitational 2021, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang fans are in for another exciting month.
Mooreton has announced the details and schedule for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's M3 World Championship, the third edition of the tournament.

M3 World Championship format



A group stage and a playoff round are held during the tournament.
As a result of the group draw held on November 6, 16 teams have been divided into 4 groups. A best-of-one round robin format will be used for these teams.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the upper bracket, while the bottom two will advance to the lower bracket.
Until round three, all games in the upper bracket will be best-of-five, while the lower bracket will be best-of-three.
Starting in round three, games in the lower bracket will be played in a best-of-five format.
It will be a best-of-seven series in the grand final.

In comparison with previous world championships, the prize pool for the M3 World Championship is three times larger at US$800,000.
Last year's prize pool for the M2 World Championship was $300,000. In the year prior, the M1 World Championship offered a prize pool of $250,000.
