It's been over a month since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were shown at the end of the most recent Pokemon Presents, which featured Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, the Gen 9 starters. Many enthusiasts have created amazing artwork of the three beginning Pokemon, including one who made them out of clay.

The following two games in the franchise, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, will be released on Switch at the end of the year. Many fans have been excited to choose between Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly as their starter Pokemon since the video for these future games was released. Sprigatito is a Grass type Pokemon with a cat-like appearance, Fuecoco is a Fire type Pokemon with crocodile-like features, and Quaxly is a Water type Pokemon with a duck-like appearance. While there has often been a favourite beginning Pokemon among fans in each Generation, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly have all garnered a lot more praise, with many players stating that selecting between the three will be difficult.

Many skilled artists are Pokemon enthusiasts, and some have recreated Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly using their talents. Many Pokemon fans have enjoyed seeing what these artists have been working on while they wait for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to release, whether it's by showing them in a unique and unexpected way or by creating their own designs for what they think the final evolutions of the starter Pokemon will look like. Cherrycos, a Reddit member, showed how the three of them would look if they were formed of clay.

All three clay creations resemble the image of the starter Pokemon displayed at the end of the trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Those who have seen the clay Pokemon post have commented to tell cherrycos how adorable Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito are in clay form. Other Pokemon figurines can be seen in the background, like as Pikachu, facing Quaxly, Sprigatito, and Fuecoco, as though they are looking at the new starters.

Fans will undoubtedly create a slew of cute creations inspired by Gen 9's starter Pokemon in the months leading up to the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and share them online for others to enjoy. It will be exciting to see the new starts in various creative ways, such as these expertly crafted clay models.
