Kakao Games has clearly made its impact across mobile gaming platforms, with well over a decade of involvement in the mobile gaming sector and a current catalogue of more than 40 titles. Despite the fact that many of their titles have yet to be released internationally, ardent mobile gamers are likely to have heard of or even played one or more of their games.
Guardian Tales and Moonlight Sculptor are two of Kakao Games' most popular mobile games, contributing to the company's more than 70 million downloads from the Google Play Store alone, as well as its overwhelmingly good average user review rating across both Android and iOS platforms.
World Flipper is the newest chart-topping product from Kakao Games, and it's a unique blend of action adventure RPG and pinball physics. There are a plethora of characters to gather and upgrade, resulting in an almost limitless number of viable team combinations.
With each member in your squad possessing unique skills and attributes, the challenge outcomes are more likely to be the result of strategy and skill than than luck. The battle stages and distinct abilities your team and foes have, as well as the diverse stage layouts, deliver new experiences from one challenge to the next.
World Flipper will undoubtedly take some time and effort for beginners to fully grasp due to its highly different gaming features. You can mash buttons in case of doubt, just like one of the tips that appear on your screen during loading periods. As amusing as that may appear, it isn't such poor advise. It takes practise to master the correct timing of taps and swipes.
If you're new to the strange but intriguing world of World Flipper and are having trouble grasping all of the game's features and mechanics, our World Flipper beginner's guide will come in helpful to kickstart your adventure and help you conquer each challenge the game throws at you!
Even if you just use one character with the most basic talents to take on each new obstacle that comes your way, World Flipper is a lot of fun. However, with multiple characters to unlock, collect, upgrade, and combine into teams, the fun and excitement factor skyrockets. With a variety of characters with rarity grades and other categories, as well as a gacha system for obtaining them, it's safe to assume that the more difficult to obtain ones are almost certainly the greatest.
Even with characters of the same rarity grade, some of the characters will simply outshine others, despite an implied desire to ensure balance across all playable characters in an RPG with a large number of them.
Although you should be able to go through the game regardless of whatever characters you use, having the best ones on your squad can surely make some obstacles simpler. In this regard, many players, particularly those who are experienced and have played a lot of gacha games, believe that rerolling for the best character pulls is a good idea.
If you're new to gacha games and the concept of rerolling, we'll offer you a quick rundown of these principles. Gacha systems essentially enforce randomness or probabilities in the acquisition of virtual characters or items. With varied rarity grades, there is always a greater likelihood of obtaining lower-grade things, leaving less chance of obtaining higher-grade items or characters.
Because most games, such as World Flipper, give players an early chance to get a 10x draw from these gacha features, the concept of rerolling allows you to replay this occurrence as many times as you like until you get the best possible "pull."
Rerolling does not ensure that your next effort will be more successful than the last. One of the disadvantages is that it can take a lot of efforts, which takes time and leaves you uncertain about the outcome. The advantage is that you can reroll as many times as you like, and even if you don't have good luck, repetition stretching as far as your patience and free time will allow you to get the outcomes you want.
You can receive 3 to 5 star heroes from the gacha, and you should aim for at least one 5-star hero per 10x roll. While we have yet to create our own World Flipper tier chart, we do know that Celtie, Razelt, and Vyron are among the most popular 5-star characters. Obtaining them may not be enough, as duplicate copies for enhancements would be required later. Having a 5-star character will, at the very least, make the early portions of your run a lot easier.
You are allowed to skip this section if you prefer to continue your adventure in World Flipper regardless of which characters you receive. If not, give yourself as much time as you can and, before starting your adventure, make sure to utilise a guest account initially, linking your progress to a social account only after you've gotten all of the characters you want.
We recommend that you go through the tutorial session at least once before deciding whether or not to skip it on subsequent occasions. You'll have enough Lodestar Beads to do a 10x gacha pull after the instruction, but if you claim gifts from your inbox, you'll be able to do it three times. Check the available banners by tapping the Potral icon in the lower right corner of the screen. Some people will have a higher likelihood of pulling specific characters.
After you've spent all of your Lodestar Beads and gotten a good harvest, go to the game's settings via the icon in the lower right corner of the screen, click on account info, and sign in with your preferred social network account. Otherwise, if you're unhappy with the characters you've gotten, you can request a reroll.
You will no longer need to uninstall and reinstall the programme to start a reroll. To start over with a new account, simply unregister your current game. This is done in the same account info page where you can link your gaming progress to one of the available social media accounts.
If you click the "Unregister Game" button in the lower right corner of the window, your game will be reset. It may take some time for your account or progress to be unregistered, so please be patient during this time. You can then skip the rest of the tutorials, acquire the first set of Lodestar Beads, and rinse and repeat.
Although a character's rarity grade affects his or her base skills and numbers, and the greater the star grade, the stronger both of these traits are, merely putting as many 5-star units together as possible would not necessarily result in an efficient team. Because every battle you fight is fought by a team of six characters, rather than a single character, you should choose which ones from your roster to join the team based on how well each character works with the others rather than how good each unit is individually.
Aside from rarity grading, there are a few additional things to think about before casting your vote. Leader skills are crucial, and one of the first things to consider for your primary hero, since they will impact how the rest of the squad is built around him or her. It's important to note that not all leadership abilities are applicable to everyone, and some have unique requirements to consider.
Each character in World has an elemental affinity, and if you've played a few strategy RPGs before, you'll be familiar with the "rock-paper-scissors" technique to assigning benefits and drawbacks to characters depending on their elemental traits.
For the benefit of total beginners, elemental systems are meant to give characters who belong to one element a damage and defensive advantage over another element while simultaneously having the same set of disadvantages. In World Flipper, there are four fundamental elements and two special elements, and it's critical that you get to know them all right away.
Fire, wind, thunder, and water are the four basic elements. Fire defeats the wind; the wind defeats the thunder; the thunder defeats the water; and the water defeats the fire. Light and dark are unique elements. While these elements may or may not have advantages or disadvantages when compared to the other four, they are essentially strong and weak when compared to one another.
Going for a whole squad of characters with one element might offer both advantages and downsides when considering elemental affinities. Characters with the same elemental affinity working together can help some team combinations and leadership abilities a lot.
On the other hand, you'll undoubtedly face difficulties that put your mono elemental team at a disadvantage. In such instances, a supplementary team of characters made up of individuals from a different element, or a team with distinct elemental affinities but still works well together, is required.
There will be recommended elements at each stage, notably throughout the main campaign and some obstacles. Having as many characters or a full team of heroes with the recommended element as possible can help you get through certain stages faster, although it isn't absolutely necessary. There are many of possibilities for you to attempt with the first gifts and incentives you receive, as well as the characters you enlist.
In World Flipper, characters are divided into five classes: warriors, deadeyes, bruisers, support units, and special units. Warriors have a higher HP than the rest of the party. Deadeyes can attack from a distance and have a higher attack value than fighters. Bruisers are also close-range attackers with a higher ATK but lower HP than the other two classes. Support troops don't have to be good on offensive or defence, but they do need to be able to assist friends. Special units are distinct from regular classes in that they have separate stats and skills.
It's actually quite simple to blow through the first few bouts if you don't spend any time thinking about how to put together the greatest squad possible with the characters you have. It will take some time and effort to look into each one's details and determine how to best use them, particularly the ones you will use for the team.
It's worth noting that you'll primarily be playing with the first three characters, with the other three, or seconds, standing on the team's lower podium, serving as support for your primary character's strikes.
In World Flipper, the main quest or storey campaign serves as the most basic game mode, teaching you all of the fundamentals while also honing your abilities in preparation for more difficult tasks. In most strategy and action RPGs, progressing through the primary campaign is crucial because it is the key to accessing the rest of the game's features.
While World Flipper offers the majority of features early on, the bosses you'll need to fight in the coop mode will only be available after you've defeated them in the main campaign, so it's critical that you get as far as you can as soon as possible.
Every battle you complete, as well as on your initial completion run, will win you goodies in the main campaign. Lodestar Beads can be obtained not only during your first run through battle stages, but also during storey cut scenes. Later on, you'll need to target specific resources from other stages, thus going further comes with a bonus. Every battle your heroes fight earns them significant EXP in addition to awards and possibly riches.
The battles will appear to be incredibly easy in the early stages of the game, especially when you unlock the auto mode on stage 4-2. Even if you deviate from the necessary elements and build a full party without much thinking, your squad will be able to overcome the initial hurdles. Similarly, you can survive without upgrading and rely solely on EXP and new levels gained by the heroes you utilise in battle.
You should expect a gradual transition from easy engagements to boss foes who can wipe out your team with little effort at some time. Although World Flipper offers a progressive escalation in complexity, it is best to come prepared from the start. World Flipper offers a variety of ways for you to enhance your heroes, but one of the most difficult decisions you'll have to make is selecting heroes to put your resources in.
World Flipper is undoubtedly an action strategy role-playing game in which resource management should be considered as part of your overall plan. Naturally, you'd prefer to spend all of your enhancement materials on heroes you'll be utilising for a long period rather than those that may only be a part of your squad for a short time. While getting as many 5-star heroes as you desire is difficult, there are lower-grade heroes worth investing in.
There will undoubtedly be a disconnect between your dream team lineup and the team you'll start with, as well as the team you'll have to deal with while waiting to find the heroes you want. Your upgrade prioritisation should be based on whether you completed the reroll and how far your starting team is from what you hoped it would be.
Heroes who will undoubtedly be a part of your squad until the end of the game should be exempt from the resource-saving method. You should use caution with those who you believe have limited utility, as well as those for whom you are unsure whether or not they will be beneficial for a long time.
Although your characters can gain EXP and level up by participating in combat, you can also give them immediate EXP by using the Point Pod. As you play the game, this pod earns EXP, which you may use on any of your units. While it's natural to want to use these EXP for the units you use the most, keep in mind that you might come across a unit that will eventually replace the ones you have on your team. In such cases, it's best to leave some points in the Point Pod to bring them up to speed and have their levels catch up to the rest of your heroes.
The maximum level of a hero is initially capped depending on their star grade, although levels can be uncapped. Extra copies of the troops come in handy at this point, as each extra copy sacrificed raises the level cap by 5. You don't have to wait until the hero reaches max level to uncap them because the process has benefits as soon as you start it. Uncapping also increases the hero's stats by a percentage, and while excess heroes can be converted into XP, uncapping their levels is the ideal usage for the higher grade heroes.
The mana board is a unique idea that can provide significant benefits to your character. Beyond increasing stats, mana and materials are required to move through each character's mana board, as this is the only way to unlock their talents and skills. The mana board is also necessary for uncovering each character's stories, and merely playing them earns you Lodestar Beads.
Each of your main heroes can also be given an armament. Armaments provide the hero with more than just HP and ATK; they also contain innate abilities. Extra copies of armaments, like extra copies of heroes, are required to awaken them. Wrightpieces are also required as a fundamental resource in Awakening. Awakening an armament improves its overall HP and ATK boost, as well as the effects of its special ability. Every awakening generates an ability core, which can be fitted to a character using the mana board.
After completing World Flipper's campaign mode, you'll be itching for additional adventures. While the campaign's obstacles are designed to develop in difficulty over time, bringing your progress to a standstill on occasion, World Flipper's other game types provide you with the added means to gather money to improve your forces.
The events icon on the lower left side of the main screen can be used to access the Kaleidoscope game modes. These game modes are the primary source of resources that your favourite heroes will require to move via their own mana boards. The elemental fragments you must acquire on a regular basis are determined by your character's elemental affinity.
Due to the fact that you will be fighting adversaries of the elements you require, the recommended members for your team are always from the opposing elements. For example, if you desire dark elemental pieces, you should utilise a team of light elementals. Keep in mind, however, that while it is encouraged, it is not required.
You can also gain EXP and mana by participating in one of the dungeons as many times as your stamina allows. Because you only have three chances to utilise the Kaleido Boost and boost the drops you can get from the challenge, it's critical to use it carefully. You should reserve the Kaleido Boosts for when you are close to unlocking and beating a higher level dungeon of your choice, but if the day is approaching its cut-off period, which is 5 a.m., it is advisable to use all three attempts as soon as possible.
World Flipper's boss battles are possibly the most difficult and entertaining component of the game. Wait till you meet those same bosses in the boss battles if the distinct talents and strategies of the bosses you fought and beat in the main campaign have piqued your interest in the kind of challenges World Flipper has in store for you. You may have breezed through the campaign's first boss, but even their first incarnation in the boss fight game mode can put you to the test, especially if you're unprepared.
Bosses in the Boss Battle can be extremely difficult to defeat on your own, especially if you mostly use auto mode. You can take on any boss on your lonesome or with multiple people in coop mode. In coop cases, the prizes will be different, but the boss coins earned will be well worth the effort in any event. Check the shop for items you may swap for your earned boss coins, as seeing those products will inspire you to battle the bosses as often as possible.
When it comes to drop rates and fast prizes, World Flipper doesn't hold back when it comes to nearly every action you engage in. While you can expect to never run out of most resources, the rate at which your needs grow based on your progress will eventually cause a slowdown when it comes to strengthening your characters later on, especially if you have made some significant investments in some characters who have been effectively benched.
There are additional resources you can gain as a result of actively participating in various activities, in addition to the automated profits you receive from the campaign and events. These may not all be related to fighting, but rather to accomplishing the things that you would ordinarily do in the normal course of your quest.
World Flipper's Missions feature contains a variety of objectives that you can complete for extra prizes, and these objectives do not always need extra work because the aims are all linked with what you would normally do.
Missions are separated into three categories: daily, regular, and event missions, with a reward for completing each target. Daily missions should be the easiest to complete and should become a normal part of your routine moving forward. Regular missions are essentially achievements that reward you for achieving certain goals during your journey. Some goals will take time to achieve, but looking at the items on the list will help you focus on some goals that are close to being completed.
You only have a certain amount of time to complete each event objective. Event missions might not always provide unique or unusual rewards, but every bit of extra resource you can earn from completing them is valuable.
World Flipper's Auto mode makes it incredibly convenient to whiz through several stages with little effort, and it's a highly useful tool, especially if your hands and eyes are fatigued. Unlocking it early in the campaign will compel you to use it, particularly if you see how efficient it is against foes in subsequent battles. Every flipper tap, dash, and even swipe that activates your heroes' special abilities can appear to be on point, especially if you're still having trouble timing your motions.
Auto mode, as efficient as it may appear, is built for convenience rather than proficiency. As poor as you believe your performance is in the early stages, the auto mode will not be able to match it, especially with a little more practise.
Auto mode operates only on the basis of available actions, with no regard for tactical or strategic considerations. When characters touch the flippers, they activate, and skills are employed as soon as they become accessible. While doing either one is preferable to doing none, any player may improve with some practise.
There are several methods to unleash a trio of characters with special abilities in a sequence that will provide greater results than simply activating them as they become available. The way characters move across the stage from the flippers is totally dependent on where they are at the time of the launch, so timing is crucial in situations where precision is required.
This is especially important in boss confrontations, when you must target specific weak spots in the opponent to bring him down. It may take some time to master timing and strategy, especially with different character combinations, but it will be well worth it if you want to dominate every task you face.
We anticipate that there will be lots more World Flipper tips and tricks to be revealed. But, for the time being, this concludes our World Flipper beginner's tutorial. We hope that the simple suggestions and tactics we gave will help you go faster and more efficiently throughout your quest.
