Elden Ring players wishing to farm levels quickly, safely, and easily can check out this concise way to obtain millions of runes.
At some point in Elden Ring, players are likely to want to grind and level up to be prepared for the difficulties ahead. Whether that’s Margit, Godrick, or Radahn, these bosses encourage growing incredibly strong at the game and getting ahead whenever feasible. There are many of spots to harvest a lot of XP at once in Elden Ring, such as the Giant Sleeping Dragon, and there are enough of foes to farm for a couple of levels.
The difficulty is, many of these come with inherent hazards such as perhaps losing runes in Elden Ring. This is not ideal and is a huge setback for many players, but happily, there is one farming spot in Elden Ring that can carry gamers to level 99 in a matter of hours without any substantial dangers. Indeed, it’s a straightforward process should gamers choose to pursue it, but it does require a little exertion to unlock.
Before players attempt this Rune Farming Method in Elden Ring, they should at least be level 40. It’s easily done around midgame and serves as a decent way to prepare, stat-wise, for the endgame.
Players should go ahead and spend any runes PRIOR to accessing this farm. The reason is not the farming method itself, but simply getting to it.
If players wish to accelerate the procedure even quicker, they should grab the Golden Scarab in Elden Ring. However, it should be noted that this farm area provides plenty of runes even without it.
This farming strategy is much easier for spellcasters, as well as any class with an AOE attack. This shouldn’t dissuade pure melee builds, however, as it only takes a bit more effort than other techniques, but the rewards are just as great.
Elden Ring players will need to beat Godrick the Grafted to unlock this agricultural site.
This approach was reportedly found by Arrekz Gaming and was independently validated by Game Rant. The above video covers everything in excellent detail, but here is a step-by-step description of travelling to this farm too.
Once there, players will be able to farm a large number of runes swiftly and effortlessly in Elden Ring. Each adversary is straightforward to dispatch and yields 2000 runes upon death. Clearing all enemies here will earn players between 40 and 50K runes in a single run. This should take no more than a few minutes. After then, players can return to the Site of Lost Grace to reset enemy spawning.
Each of these adversaries can be eliminated individually. The red animals are the only potential concern, since they will leap around and occasionally sprout big red spikes, transform into a ball, and charge the player. Players must keep an eye on them throughout the fight, but they are not very tough to defeat. The best part is that if players die here during a run, they may simply pick up their runes as they spawn nearby, none of the resting creatures will attract aggro, and the red creatures will respond to the player's presence for a little while.
If players engage in combat with one of the red ones, it is recommended that they retreat up the hill, kill them as they approach, and continue pressing forward. In the event that they do die during this run, they may simply collect their runes, but overall, it is not difficult and quite rewarding.
As Arrekz points out, an AoE-based build can finish this farm even faster; nonetheless, as a katana-wielding Samurai in Elden Ring, we were able to complete this approach effortlessly, rapidly, and without risk. We were able to obtain the 500K runes pictured above in less than an hour. Players can and probably should spend runes as they near a level up, only to further lessen that danger aspect.
Spending these runes to level up in Elden Ring elevated us from level 61 to 78, making not only this run much easier to finish, but also Starscourge Radahn's defeat a breeze. In general, for those seeking quick levels in Elden Ring, this farm area is difficult to beat for its benefits, minimal risk factor, and speed.
