Gladiators: How to survive in Rome. Tips, tricks, and strategies to help you build the best camp and take over the Roman Empire.

This is Colossi Games' first game for the mobile platform. Gladiators: Survival in Rome is a unique action RPG with survival and camp-building parts. At this point, Gladiators: Survival in Rome has been out for less than a week. It has already made the top ten lists of games in several countries, and it has mostly positive reviews from both Android and iOS users.

Game: You play as a fugitive from the Roman army, as well as a legionnaire who wants to help survivors rebuild their city. Beyond the challenges of making sure you have enough food and weapons to fight off different types of enemies, gathering resources and making different tools and materials will be part of your ongoing missions.

There is a lot of freedom in Gladiators: Survival in Rome when it comes to how you move forward in the game. Several quests become available at the same time, and there are a lot of things to do that aren't related to quests as well.

It's not just killing and looting enemies for gear and potions that you do. Gathering resources like stones and wood, doing chores, and trading with merchants are also common. Having more survivors to save will help you make resources and craft things, which will help your city grow and develop.

Gladiators: It can be hard to stay alive in Rome, especially if you're a complete novice. There are very few tutorials in the game to help you learn how to play. At the start of each new activity, there are quick guides that show you how to do things. You can also look at hints and tips that show you how to move forward on your own.

There are some tasks you can't complete all at once because of the energy system, but no matter how you play, you will still make progress. Make sure you read our Gladiators: Survival in Rome beginner's guide if you haven't played the game yet and are looking for some help.

1. On Story Quests, put progress first.

A quest starts right away when you start Gladiators: Survival in Rome. You'll soon find out that when you finish one quest, you start another. The first quest, along with most quests you take on soon after, forms part of the storey quest. At the left side of your screen, you'll be able to see the goals of your quests. A directional pointer will always show up to help you get there.

There is a huge open world waiting for you to be discovered within Gladiators: Survival in Rome and the key to fully exploring the land lies within the quests. The first time you play, you'll only be able to find a few places and make a few things. As you complete quests, you will be able to go to more places and build more structures in your camp and make more items.

Current: The quest on the left of your screen is just one of many that you may have. To check the list of available quests, you need to click on the scroll icon at the bottom of the screen. Quests have different categories and we feel that the ones at the top are the most important, and Story Quests are always at the top of the list. In addition to storey quests, there are village quests, side quests, world quests, and also journey quests.

The main quests in Gladiators: Survival in Rome are the storey quests. They help you get more into the world of the game. People and the history of the land will become more clear to you as you complete these quests. You will also learn why your quests are important and how they work.

You get resources and a way to do more quests if you finish the storey quests. Prioritizing storey quest completions will certainly lead to some road blocks along the way. That would be your cue to take on other quests in your list.

Village quests all relate to improving your camp through building new structures and upgrading some of them as well. There are a lot of structures here that can help you get resources, but some of them are just workbenches that can make different things with the same resources. Next to storey quest progression, fulfilment of village quest objectives directly lead to progression you can easily feel.

New structures enable you to create more items and may also lead to fulfilling other quests. There are, however, always going to be costs and resources that you need to meet these goals. The fact that you have money or energy to gather and make things doesn't mean that you should do village quests. Some storey quests may have the same requirements, and you should only spend what you can afford to make sure that progress doesn't stop because you don't have enough money or energy.

Side quests, world quests, and journey quests all do not directly impact your progression through the main storey. However, these quests can offer rewards that can make your journey moving forward a lot more convenient on top of the immediate rewards you can earn from completing them.

Considering everything, there is nothing wrong with pursuing any other quest type even if you can already move forward with the pending storey quest. What you should avoid, in any case, is depleting your supply of gold or energy to continue pursuing the storey quest.

2. You should keep your village clean and organised.

When you go on a trip, the first village you come across will become your own camp. You can't really expect much from your adventure because of the theme and the time it takes place. There are old buildings and broken things all over the place, and there are piles of rubble all over the ground. If you want to make your house look good, you'll have to put in a lot of time, patience, and work.

In the storey and village quests, you will be able to build different things in the village. You can interact with a post on the northeast side of your village to see if there are any buildings that can be built in your area. People who live in the village can also build tents on the southwest side of the island. Space may seem very small at first, but as your adventure progresses, more space opens up.

In the process of building your camp, it is best to leave as much open space as possible before you start to build things. The slabs and boulders you can break for stones can also be used to make stones. Some of the structures that are called debris can be demolished if you have enough money and resources to do so. Keeping your village clean by getting rid of unwanted trash is one thing, but making sure everything is in its place is another.

If you only have a few workbenches up, it will be easy to remember where everything is. After a lot of buildings are added to the community, it might be hard to tell which buildings are for what without going near them first. To keep this from happening, spend some time making changes to the layout of your village from time to time.

Clearing debris and rubble may use a lot of energy, so you'll have to use a limited amount of stamina for that. However, when it comes to moving structures, it doesn't take a lot of energy. As a result, you will only need to do this for a few minutes each time. It is also a good idea to do this while you are waiting for your stamina to come back up.

To start moving things around, go to the post you interact with when you build structures. It's on the bottom left of the screen. Click the move button. When the game starts, there will be a light pillar on the map. You can move it toward any structure you want to move, and it will light up. Hit the check button to pick up the item and then again to drop it. This is how you do it: You can also move each structure around as you want.

Each structure should be checked to see what it can do, especially if it doesn't fit in with the current quests you are on. Priorities for the village's entrance, a small hut for one or two people, and structures that make materials for you over time should be at the top of the list. Keep in mind that you can't assign tasks to people who don't have homes, and structures that make materials over time also need people to work.

3. Learn how to control your energy use.

In Gladiators, energy is the most important thing to have. It is important to have energy in order to live in Rome, because without it, you won't be able to do anything. Without energy, there won't be much you can do or achieve. Starting out, it may be awhile before you realise the value of energy. This is true, especially because almost every activity you do in relation to the goal at hand will use energy.

It doesn't matter how much energy you use because you get experience points for every one. However, even if you think about different ways to get energy, you might not be able to keep moving forward. In some cases, it should be fine for you to take a break from your adventure. If you are not yet ready to do that, you should learn how to use all the energy you have.

Cooked meat and mushrooms may be your main source of extra energy. It's important to be careful with these things because they aren't very common or hard to get. In the campfire, you can cook 1 meal with 1 piece of wood and some raw meat.

Each piece of meat you cook gives you 20 energy, so you can do more things. Mushrooms can be found all over the land, but each one only gives you one energy and can't be cooked to give you more. You can get raw meat from rabbits and other animals you come across while you're out and about, so don't pass up the chance to get some while you're out and about.

Play a short video ad to earn 20 more points when your energy level drops to 0. There is a catch: You can only do this 5 times a day. Make sure you try these things before you eat your meat and mushrooms.

It will be possible to play a mini game once a day after a few storey quests are done. A dice icon near the village's front door lets you see what it looks like when you play. A merge-puzzle game in which you combine similar dishes to get to the next level is simple to look at, but very hard.

It will depend on the levels of the dish you merge when all your turns are up or when the board is full and you can't move. Make sure to use up all your energy before playing this game.

It's one of the things you need to think about when you play Gladiators: Survival in Rome: Leveling up, because each new level will give you more health and strength. There may not be exact numbers you can use to figure out when you can reach a new level, but at least look at the EXP bar at the bottom of your screen.

Make sure to reach a new level before you leave the game if you're close to having enough energy to get through the whole game. The extra energy you get from mushrooms or even cooked meat will be used to do things that will help you get enough EXP to get to a new level and get the most energy possible, so it's worth it to spend the extra energy.

4. Do not forget to assign tasks to other people.

This game is very big, and you'll come across areas with exclamation marks on them as you go. Often, these may be treasure chests that can give you gold and other useful things. Other times, these may be other survivors who need your help. People who are in need of help are an exception to the general rule that we always recommend going on quests.

Sometimes, all it takes is a few swings of your pickaxe to break the boulders that are in your way. The villagers you get as a reward can help make your life easier in the future, so it's worth it. As soon as you get back to the village entrance, you'll see the new survivor walk into the village. They won't be able to do anything until you build them a hut, so be sure to set aside some money and materials for it when you get a new survivor.

In your village, there are some places that can give you basic resources like raw meat and wood from time to time. If you want your order brought to you, a villager will have to do that job for you. There are also some materials you can get from structures that cost gold, and you can get them. As long as you don't have a real need for them, we don't think you should stay with them. Free things are the best.

The Chopping Spot, the Sawhorse, and the Stonecutter are some of the small structures you'll need to process basic materials like wood and stone. In order to get what you need more quickly, you can interact with these structures and do the work yourself. Doing so, however, will use a lot of energy. To save time and energy, you can outsource some of the work that goes into processing things to people in the village.

5. Upgrade And Repair Gears With Prudence

A lot of fun and excitement comes from the variety and types of gear that a character can wear, as well as mechanics like durability, repairs, and upgrades. With Prudence, you can upgrade and repair your gear. A game called Gladiators: Survival in Rome comes with all of the above, as well as basic tools you need to gather logs and stones.

This means that you can get gear from treasure chests, and also loot the bodies of bandits and other enemies you kill. A lot of items are level 1 common types, but as you go on, you'll get better ones.

Every piece of equipment you wear has a limited amount of durability, which can be seen by a bar next to their icon. You can expect each of them to break after a while of use. Higher level gears will be better at what they do and last longer, but the rate at which they wear out will stay the same.

When you get back to your village, you can easily fix your gears on the Repair Table just north of the village's front door. Most basic tools like the axe and pickaxe don't use a lot of energy as you work on them by hand, but more advanced tools will need to be repaired with materials. Afterward, a full list of all your equipment will be shown, so don't get mixed up in repairing only the things you'll keep and use.

Keep your tools and gears in good shape before going on a trip. Tools and equipment can always be fixed, but having them break outside the village can be a real pain. With a broken axe or pickaxe, it will take more strikes to chop down a tree or break down a boulder. This means that you will have to work twice as hard to get the same results.

When you fight outside of the village, your survival is at risk because broken weapons and armour pieces don't add up to your defence stats. With enemies spawning outside the village, it is important to make sure that all of your gear has maximum durability when you leave the village, especially if you plan to travel a long way.

It is better to be ready even if none of your gears break than not be ready and not have any spares. Having extra copies will take up a lot of space, which you don't have a lot of when you start. This means that you'll need more inventory space and better inventory management.

In the beginning, upgrading an item will cost gold. As the item's level rises, it will cost more and more gold to do so. Any time, even when you're away from home. You can tap on your backpack at the bottom of the screen to see what you have, then click the upgrade button to see how much it will cost, and then the level up button to confirm the upgrade.

You can't spend too much money with gold even though the start-up costs are cheap. There are a lot of things you can improve, and you need to be very careful. For now, you may want to avoid level 1 items because you have a good chance of getting a higher level one. Most of the things you get in the beginning are common, but some of them can make your life easier with even the smallest changes, so keep an eye out for them.

6.Invest in a lot of space for your things.

Keeping extra tools and weapons on hand is important, but inventory space is a very important part of the game that everyone needs to keep an eye on to make sure that existing items aren't wasted and that new items can be bought. At the start of your journey, you have very little space for items. Even though you can expand it later on, it will also take resources and premium currency to do so.

During Gladiators: Survival in Rome, your bag can only hold 8 different items at a time. Even though the same items can be stacked, this still leaves you with a very limited amount of variety. You only need a few simple things to fix the broken storage near the entrance of your village. There is a good chance you will need more free space than you can carry.

To add 4 more slots to your bag, you can use gems, which are very valuable. Even though there are many ways to use this valuable currency, we think inventory space is the most important one. If you want to keep upgrading your bag, you'll need a lot more gems. You'll only be able to upgrade twice and have 8 more slots for a long time.

Then, after you have set up the storage in your village, you can also go to the next level and have even more space. However, you'll need more structures in your village to process materials, and that may take a while because you're focusing on other important quests.

Even though there is more inventory space, if there isn't proper inventory management, the end result will be the same as if there was. To do this, we suggest preparing for two different kinds of things. These are the main things that will help you figure out what you need to pack and what you can leave in your storage. Switching things around based on the task or set of tasks at hand is what this means.

The first set of items is about what you do in your village. In other words, raw materials and finished goods like flitches, wedges, and stone bricks are all things you need to do the job at hand. You need space in your bag for both. Trying to make too much at once will use up storage space that you don't have a lot of, so it's best not to.

In the second set of activities, you can do any and all quests that make you leave the village. You need to have your potions, energy sources, extra weapons, and tools in your bag whether you're going on a simple errand or going on a long trip.

To be more efficient with storage space, you should follow this simple rule and make it a habit. While outside of the village, you'll be able to get more loot and process more materials at the camp.

Most of the things you don't want in your bag after a trip are likely extra gear that you don't need anymore. When you first start, you can highlight them in your inventory and click on the trash bin icon to get rid of them quickly and quickly. After a while, though, you can build a structure that can break down gears in your village. Make sure you build this as soon as you can so you can get rid of old gear and get some materials from it.

7. You Can Flee From Battle Easily

Gladiators: Survival in Rome is an action RPG, so you can expect to see a lot of fights happen. There are always groups of enemies that you have to fight, even if it's not part of a storey. You should always be ready for them.

In most battles, there will be more than two people fighting each other. There will also be melee and ranged fighters with homing shots. Since so many people get hurt in fights, it's almost impossible to fight and not get hurt. For each kill, you'll get EXP, and you'll also get random drops like potions that help you get back to full health and gear you can wear. Then, it is very likely that you will want to fight at every chance you can get.

With each battle you fight, however, your weapon and gears lose their strength. Even though your health may not be a big deal if every piece of your armour still works, the risk of breaking any of your equipment, especially your weapon, can lead to a loss. The only way to get more health outside of the village is to drink potions, which are limited and mostly come from slain enemies. Each time you reach a new level in the village, your health and other stats are replenished and grow as well.

Death can be very demoralising, even though it seems hard to lose a fight early on. Items and gears that aren't attached to your body will also be lost if you die. There is a way to get it. You can interact with your corpse in the same place where you were killed. In that case, it will be very hard to do.

In the game, you can always run away from your enemies, but they won't be able to cross borders that cause loading screens, which are marked by bright lights. This is the same as the one outside your village. Another option is to travel quickly. In Gladiators: Survival in Rome, you can go to the places you have unlocked right away. In the bottom right of your screen, there is an icon for this that you can click on. It will take a travel ticket to use. As long as there are a lot of tickets, you can get them by watching video ads.
