The Gunk is coming to PC and consoles, with an unique Xbox edition that includes a photo option to let you remember your favourite moments while playing. The release date has yet to be determined.
The Xbox One now has a new photo option that allows you to use the console's Kinect camera to take screenshots from The Gunk. It also allows you to use voice commands to locate items concealed throughout the game.
The PC version of the game was only a matter of time before it was released on Steam and other PC platforms. The Gunk has been downloaded over a million times on Microsoft's platform, despite the fact that many gamers have liked the experience on Xbox.
Thunderful is now extending The Gunk's reach even further by revealing that it will soon be available on Steam and other PC platforms.
Thunderful had previously stated that it would be moving to Steam and other platforms. It now looks that the studio has begun work on a photo mode for Xbox One users.
Players will be able to submit images from their Xbox One to their Steam library, where they may then be utilised in-game on any platform.
Previously, only a select few gamers were allowed to snap pictures within The Gunk. Anyone will now be able to capture high-resolution screenshots.
The creator also stated that any photo taken while playing the game would be stored indefinitely.
This isn't the only new feature coming to The Gunk, though it's an interesting one.
The company has recently stated that the Xbox version of the game will support six more languages and will be more compatible with Windows 11.
Players will be able to not only shoot, but also create and modify pages for their photo book in the photo mode. Players can now choose from a number of languages thanks to the additional language support.
The Gunk's main selling point is its photo modes, which allow users to create their characters by taking and sharing photos in real time.
The Gunk is described as sleek and insightful in the Eurogamer review. It also mentions the game's moral and ethical delicacy.
