We looked at the Generation Zero game a few weeks ago, which is unplayable on Xbox Series X consoles unless Auto HDR is set on.
Are you ready for yet another favourite title to join this terrible list? We don't like doing it, but it's our responsibility to keep you informed in the best way possible.
That said, Star Wars enthusiasts who have already purchased Xbox's last-generation systems are not going to be pleased with this news.
According to reports, when playing Jedi Fallen Order on a Series X, the game glitches terribly in specific sections of the galaxy, making it difficult to look at it at all.
The beloved game will begin to visually glitch like crazy as soon as you step foot on Dathomir.
There is currently no official fix, but restarting the game and rebooting the console would fix the problem.
"Is it just me or does this game look absolutely terrible on the Xbox One S?
Sometimes textures don’ t load and I can count the pixels on screen, looks last gen sometimes.
I tried to tinker with the video options but still not much improvement, does anyone else has the same issue?"
On the other hand, folks are continually criticising the Series S for how poorly it runs some of the most recent games.
As a result, we'll concentrate on its bigger brother, the Series X, which is known for providing a far more comprehensive and stable experience at a greater cost.
However, as previously stated, this is not a universal rule. On Xbox's Series X consoles, the game plays smoothly. Making your trip to Dathomir, on the other hand, will eternally change your mind.
Fallen Order glitches terribly when reaching this location, as you can see in the following Reddit post video, with shadows, pixels, and textures dancing all over the screen.
As of right now, neither EA nor Respawn Entertainment have offered an official repair, so we'll have to make do with a temporary workaround.
Don't be disheartened; the process will just take a few minutes and isn't as difficult as you would believe.
All you have to do now is restart the game and see whether the issue still exists. If the problem persists, try stopping the game and resetting your Series X.
These aren't official fixes, but they've worked for some of the folks who reacted to the post and said they were having similar problems.
The bright side is that, despite the fact that we're dealing with a significant aesthetic issue, it won't render the game unplayable, as we witnessed with Generation Zero.
If you don't mind glancing at your surroundings and just want to slash some deserving Sith Lords with your lightsaber, go ahead.
However, given that it's a newish title that cost a few bucks when it initially came out, there are individuals who are seriously disturbed by such flaws.
We'll keep an eye out for any updates that may be released in the near future. Have you been affected by this obnoxious visual problem as well? Please share your thoughts in the comments box below.
