Security
In order to make sure our products are as safe and as current as possible when purchased, we have applied a number of safety measures. In order to guarantee the safety of our smart lighting products, we use AES encryption using 128 bits, and we test and approve them in accordance with all applicable standards.
TRÅDFRI products are not regionally restricted and will fit any lamp that works with their bulb size.
Radiation
from TR*DFRI products is significantly lower than that from WiFi devices and mobile phones. To avoid exposure to electricity or radiation, we recommend turning off the bulbs with the wall switch, which will make them completely powerless.
Interference
Once light sources are paired with a steering device, they can only be used together, so there's no possibility of neighbouring systems interfering with one another.
It is possible for interference to occur if other electrical appliances in your home operate on the same frequency (2.4 GHz). This product, however, is certified in accordance with the standards in the DoC (Declaration of Conformity) and should be free of interference.
