After installing Windows 11, the Import Export Wizard is said to be broken.
  • After installation, Windows 11 is renowned for breaking functions.
  • After upgrading, users have reported a variety of issues.
  • According to reports, the SQL Server Import and Export Wizard is broken.
  • This was discovered during a full OS upgrade from Windows 10.

After earlier stating that Windows 10 would be the final in the series, it has already been nearly five months since Microsoft introduced its latest Windows operating system.

Many people have embraced the new experience since then, and Insiders are regularly testing new updates and functionality that will eventually make their way into the stable version.

Even while Windows 11 has become a much more stable experience, it still has a lot of flaws, and upgrading from Windows 10 can be a painful experience at times.

Another feature of Windows 11 has been broken.

Not only might the upgrade become stalled, but several functionality may stop operating after some devices upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

We've seen the upgrade affect folks in a variety of ways over the last several months, including internet now working, taskbar not showing, endless restart loops, and more.

According to recent reports, installing the new operating system will also break the Windows Import Export Wizzard. The SQL Server Import and Export Wizard makes it simple to copy data from one location to another.

If you want to use the wizard but don't have Microsoft SQL Server installed, you can use SQL Server Data Tools to install the SQL Server Import and Export Wizard (SSDT).

Users who are interested can now add this to the large list of issues that have arisen as a result of the Windows 11 update. We're not sure if this can happen on a clean install because it hasn't been detected yet.

And, while we're on the subject of leaving Windows 10 behind and moving on, keep in mind that performing a hard reset on your device while it's still upgrading is never a good idea.

Other Windows 11 customers claim that the upgrades aren't as small or quick to install as Microsoft claims, and that they will still take time to complete.

Also, if you want to try the ARM version of Microsoft's newest operating system on an Apple M1 device, a UTM VM is said to work well.

Don't be discouraged by the minor flaws and errors that continue to appear even after five months. Windows 11 is still a new operating system with a long way to go.

However, the general experience has improved, and it is no longer as insecure and glitchy as some have claimed.
