PC: How to Resize Images in Canva

To resize an image using Canva on your PC, follow these steps.

1. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to Canva. 

2. Choose Edit photo from the menu after clicking on the Create a design button at the top.

3. Click on Edit Photo after uploading the image. A new project window will open.

4. There are several resizing options available when you click the Resize tool at the top. Custom size lets you enter the width and height of your choice. Alternatively, you can select pixels, inches, millimeters, or centimeters as the unit.

You can also select from various presets to resize your image to the ideal size. If you want to resize an image for an Instagram post, a flyer, or a brochure, these presets eliminate the need to know the dimensions of the platforms.

5. Select a size option and click on the Resize button to change the dimensions of your image.

You can also make minor adjustments to your image if resizing has cropped out a part that you wish to keep. To do so, click on the Crop option on the toolbar.

You can do this by expanding the Resize tool and checking all the sizes that you want. Next, hit Copy and Resize.

1. Launch your preferred web browser and navigate to Canva. 

2. Click on the Create a design button and select Custom Size.

3. Fill out the Width and Height fields with your preferred size for the image. Press Create new design.

4. Switch to the Uploads tab on your left and click the Upload media button.

5. You can now drag and drop the image into your template. Click the Download button to save your image.

1. Run Canva on your phone. You can select Custom size by tapping on the Plus icon in the bottom right corner.
