How to Share Pinterest Boards from a Computer and a Mobile Device

Pinterest is a one-stop shop for images, especially design ideas, trends, and inspirational imagery. No, I'm not talking about encouraging phrases; I'm talking about stuff you'd like to purchase, do, consume, or make. Take weddings as an example. Pinterest has so many lovely wedding ideas that you'll want to get married just looking through your Pinterest page.

That is the allure of Pinterest. It simply blows your head in a wow-ish way. Sometimes we want others to feel the same way we do. Why, after all, should we keep those brilliant thoughts to ourselves? At times, we, too, seek counsel about our on-board collection.

We must share Pinterest boards with people in circumstances like these. But how can one go about doing so? Is that even conceivable? Yes, it is feasible, and this article will teach you how to share your boards with others using the Pinterest website and mobile apps (Android/iPhone).

Let's get started straight now.

PINTEREST BOARDS CAN BE SENT TO OTHERS VIA WEBSITE.

To do so, take the following steps:

Step 1: Open the Pinterest website and go to your profile page by clicking on your name at the top.

Step 2: Click on the board that you want to send to someone.

Step 3: Hit the send icon at the top of the board.

Step 4: You will get many sharing options such as you can directly share on social

social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp, or email it to your Pinterest pals by clicking the Send icon next to their name.

Click on Copy link if you want to share it on a platform that isn't listed in the share sheet. Then, in the app of your choosing, paste the link and send it. Alternatively, once the board is open, copy the link in the address bar and share it.

SHARE BOARDS ON ANDROID AND IPHONE WITH OTHERS

On mobile apps, there are two ways to do it.

Method 1: Making Use of Gestures

Step 1: Launch the Pinterest app and open your profile screen by tapping on the Saved tab at the bottom.

Step 2: Tap and hold the board that you want to share. With your finger on the screen, drag it towards the send icon.

The send board screen will open. Here select the app or contact with whom you want to share your board. You can even copy the board link to share on any website or app of your choice.

Method 2: Without Gesture

When you're on your profile page, tap on the board that you want to share. On the following screen, touch the transmit icon at the top and choose the app with which you want to share the board.

SHARE BOARDS WITH QR CODES FROM PINTEREST

A great tool for sharing your boards is available on the Pinterest website and Android app. The Pincode functionality is based on QR codes. That is, Pinterest generates a snazzy QR code that you must share with your friends, who must scan the code using the Pinterest Lens to view the board.

Scanning Pincodes is possible by directing the Pinterest camera straight at the code. Alternatively, you can import a Pincode from your gallery or camera roll. When someone sends you a Pincode on any app, the latter comes in handy.

Here's how to use Pinterest pincodes.

Create a Pincode

Follow these procedures to generate a pincode:

Step 1: On your profile screen, open the board that you want to share.

Step 2: Tap or click on the send icon. Select Pincode from the menu.

Step 3: You will be taken to the Pincode creation screen. Tap on Create Pincode button (on the mobile app) and Download Pincode (on the website).

Click on Copy link if you want to share it on a platform that isn't listed in the share sheet. Then, in the app of your choosing, paste the link and send it. Alternatively, once the board is open, copy the link in the address bar and share it.

Your device will save the image containing your QR code. To view the downloaded image, open the gallery. Then, using any app of your choosing, share it with your pals.

Utilize and Scan the Pinterest Pincode

Open the Pinterest app on your iPhone or Android if you have received a Pinterest Pincode (yes, scanning works on both.) Tap the camera icon on the right side of the search bar on the app's home screen.

Point your camera at the Pincode if it is available on a second device. If, on the other hand, the Pincode image is on your phone, press the gallery icon and select the image. In both circumstances, Pinterest will begin scanning the Pincode and opening the board in the app.

SHARE A PINTEREST BOARD WITH SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE A PINTEREST ACCOUNT.

Pinterest pins and boards each have their own link. As previously said, once you have the URL, you may easily share them with others outside of Pinterest. Fortunately, Pinterest makes obtaining the connection simple. To do so, click/tap on a board's send icon and then pick Copy link from the Send board screen. Then, on the app/website of your choosing, paste the URL.
