 Step 4: To make a DWORD value in the registry, right-click on the System registry key and choose "New."

Step 5: Select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value from the context menu as shown below.


Step 6: EnableSmartScreen will now be called EnableSmartScreen. Double-click on it to open it.


Step 7: To turn off the SmartScreen, type 0 in the Value data field and click OK to save the changes.


Step 8: After it is done, close the registry editor window.

Step 9: Then, restart the computer once. After it starts up, check to see if it's turned off or not.
