Chloride 80-NET can be connected to as many as eight units in parallel for an enhanced level of capacity and redundancy, which enhances its fault management capability by preventing a single point of failure. Chloride 80-NET's parallel architecture allows individual units to be serviced while the remaining units power the load. By modifying a dedicated and easy-to-use software setting, an 80-NET Chloride unit can easily be upgraded to parallel. Chloride 80-NET's auto-configuration, hot-plug parallel feature detects when new units are added without stopping the system. Parallel processing provides maximum flexibility for scalability and redundancy.

In addition, the Loop CAN BUS connection used to interconnect the paralleled UPS allows for unparalleled reliability, perfect load sharing, and fast detection of any variations in the status of the UPS system. Distributed Parallel Configuration

Chloride 80-NET units can be paralleled for advanced scalability. The distributed parallel configuration provides parallel operation without the need for a system control cabinet, reducing installation costs. Each unit is equipped with a dedicated static bypass switch.

Centralized Parallel Configuration


In the Chloride 80-NET's centralised parallel configuration, the internal static bypass switch of each unit is disabled and an external Main Static Switch (MSS) rated for the desired maximum capacity is installed. Therefore, the reserve supply to the loads is provided by one piece of equipment (MSS). The MSS can be easily integrated into any switchgear, simplifying installation and cabling. By using its integrated touchscreen display, the MSS receives system-level commands.

Centralised Parallel Configuration with Intelligent Paralleling

Main Static Switch (MSS) intelligent paralleling optimizes performance at partial load, and thereby reduces running costs. By enabling this feature, the system can reduce running costs.

Adapt capacity automatically to meet immediate load requirements by switching surplus units to standby mode while maintaining system availability. Furthermore, the Main Static Switch allows all Chloride 80-NET units to operate in standby mode for the same amount of time, ensuring equal component life. With the Main Static Switch intelligent paralleling feature, it is possible to maximize Chloride 80NET's double conversion efficiency at partial load while reducing overall energy dissipation.
