Steam's Next Fest appears to be far from the only modification to the popular gaming platform in recent years.
Bethesda is retiring their Bethesda.net Launcher this year, in case you didn't know. Users will be able to transfer their games and Wallet to Steam beginning in early April.
Keep in mind that you'll be able to use the Bethesda launcher to access and play games until May.
Any game you own on the Bethesda launcher will be instantly available for free on Steam after this update.
According to Bethesda, you will not lose anything from your Bethesda.net account when you switch to Steam.
Many games' saves will be moved as well, with a few requiring manual transfers. You'll still need to utilise your Bethesda.net login to play games that require it.
This significant move comes at an exciting time for the firm, as it prepares to release numerous games this year, including Tango Gameworks' Ghostwire: Tokyo, Arkane Studios' Redfall, and Bethesda Game Studios' highly anticipated ARPG Starfield.
Despite the fact that the launcher will be shut down, Bethesda.net accounts will continue to exist and will be accessible on the website and in-game.
It's also worth noting that with our future products, we'll continue to provide support for all Bethesda.net accounts.
After the migration, your Bethesda.net and Steam friends lists will be merged. Players of Fallout 76 should be aware that Bethesda has created a dedicated FAQ page for the game.
