The idea of having native Android apps on Windows 11 has excited a lot of people.
And now that this dream has come true, the Redmond tech company has thought about making the feature even better.
So it was, in fact, made possible by an update to the Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA). This update has a lot of interesting changes.
A big change is being made to the Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11 for people who use the Windows Insider Program. This means that it will be updated wherever the programme is installed, so in the Dev, Beta, and Release Preview Channels.
If you want to get the new version, you can get it from the Microsoft Store. It has a lot of great new features and improvements, like better video playback, better integration with Windows, and better security.
As we said before, this update lets the Windows Subsystem for Android use hardware-accelerated H.264 decoding.
This should make it easier to use some apps that use high-definition video playback in the current app store.
This new feature isn't the only thing Microsoft did to improve performance and reliability. They also changed some of the features that were already available.
Networking changes are made to the platform so that it can be used for future improvements. Developers want people who use WSA's networking features to let them know if they have problems.
Improvements were made to the way Windows and Android work together. There has been a lot of progress made in this update to how Windows email clients and mobile apps work together.
Apps that launch a mail client or message should benefit right away from this change.
A lot of game apps use MSAA, but some users said that 4X MSAA couldn't be turned off. Before, anti-aliasing was being forced to work. It has now been fixed.
Another big change was made to the general input in the Windows Subsystem for Android, including better scrolling in the Amazon Appstore and Kindle apps.
It's safe to say that there are problems that have already been fixed
If you have used WSA so far, please tell us about it in the comment box below.
